Rabbi Stephen Lewis Fuchs has officially designated October 22 as Kof Awareness Day. The Hebrew month of Tishri has four major celebrations: Rosh HaShanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot and Simchat Torah. By contrast, the following month, Heshvan, has none.
